Who We Are?
UDHAN was founded by a group of visually impaired youth who faced significant challenges related to education, employment, social inclusion, and discrimination in Somalia. Recognizing the urgent need for a dedicated platform to advocate for their rights, UDHAN was established to drive meaningful change.
The organization focuses on advocacy, education, innovation, economic empowerment, capacity building, awareness creation, and fighting discrimination to ensure that visually impaired individuals are fully included in society.
