Every year on the third of December the world celebrates the International of Disabilities day, So yesterday, a ceremony was held in Mogadishu to celebrate the day of the disabled.
This event was organized by Somali Visual Impaired Organization, which receives support from the National Disability Agency. It was attended by JFS Prime Minister, the Minister of Human Rights a National Commission for Disability, United Nations Human Rights Office, ambassador of China, deputy police, and civil society.
Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Bare has promised that the government will support people with disabilities, You are one of us, you are our brothers, our parents, our children, you have rights to education, work, and politics.
Prime Minister Hamse said the government will implement international laws and regulations that give rights to people with disabilities.
On the other hand, the Chinese ambassador said that the number of disabled people in his country is very high, so we are ready to help and promote the disabled people living in Somalia.
